Sony Ericsson K850i phone... Rot! Rot! Rot!



I have this new phone on 7 May 2008 but it always give me problems since then... I have visited the Service Centre twice...

The second visit there as I get to change a new phone with new memory card but till now, I still have encountered problems here and there...

Sony Ericsson phone rot due to the software as the centre manager always denied that main caused most of the time coz he need me to send in my phone for software update whatever my phone hang, go to default setting all the time or can't read memory card status most of the time...

They always insist on the issue caused all due to my memory card problem if there are still same issue arise to my new phone....

They really can't solve problem since beginning... That's why, they changed a new phone for me but I still face the same problems again and again...

Is this the right service and attitude...? I don't know...!

The Sony Ericsson K850i key pad make my fingers feel very painful most of the time coz the small tiny square key pad are rather dificult to send sms all the time...

The phone always go default setting most of the time when I switch it on early in the morning...

I don't know whether should I dumped it away somewhere or not...!!

I got a bad news to let you know that my K850i handphone hanged when I need to use my phone this morning... All the key can't work even when I try to off my phone... I have no choice but to quickly take out the battery instead....

I am rather disappointed as I really don't know what has happened...

Nowadays... I need to bring two phone instead as I am rather upset and extremely angry when my phone encounter problems once again...


Do you have any other good solution rather than sending me to your service centre..?

I would like to know the caused of this hanging problems as I really don't like to visit service centre so often...!

I am busy at this time but I will try to monitor the phone and keep you inform once again...

I rather don't understand why my phone every month also have problems...! Do you know why....?


How to avoid hang and jam from my phone once again...? Any good suggestion from you...?

Don't mean that when I send back to you, I won't be having any more new problems anymore right...?

Oh ya ya sorry sorry Saturday ya ya change whatever u want no problem :)

Ya thats y i told u not to copy those data back to ur ph but u kept wantin them it's not a product issue already.. It's seems like ur memory card 8s corrupted.

Go to file manager options, memory status, memory card, options then format.. Also after that if possible master reset ur ph but pls know that all ur ph memory will be gone..

Ya but it's very strange that even after a new ph there are issues pertaining the memory card.. Even the memory card is new.. It could only mean that there are corrupted datas affecting the ph. At this stage all we can do is only advise the rest is up to u..

Hey I'm only trying to help. This ph is not a bad choicetrust me.. I'm seeing phs in and out and i know. Sometimes we need to understand why our electronical products work this way ya.. Relsx..

Upgrade already but if u d like can run the software again wipping out all corruption..

I suggested it to you that day cos u say the ph could not read the M2 card. In this case We'll upgrade the ph sw again n format the M2 CARD for u..

We had run several tests on that ph and it was ok when we released it to you even after our advice u still chose to use ur old data.. n now just as told ur ph's having memory card issue. What u think the nature of the problem is besides being related with data? The new ph that has been given to u is also faulty?

We gave u a standard sony erisson M2 CARD. Nothing pirated abt it I assure u..

U reformat but still restore the same data back from the pc rite? Then what's the use of reformating that card?

What questions do u still have? haven't I've been giving u answers? I CHANGED UR PH UR M2 CARD helped to back up ur datas for u.. Advised u not to use the same old datas but u didn't listen.. Now that M2 cant be detected by the ph intermitently I'm asking u to come down So that we can run the sw for u. What else is there u need us to do?!!

Like i said we can only advise its up to consumers if they wanna talke it.. U initially just wanted me to help u back up ur data to ur thumbdrive rite the wanted it in ur PH.. Ok now that it's taking a toll over ur PH y not just come down to the service centre get it upgraded again.. It'll take only a few mins thats all.. U want i can change another M2 CARD for u. But this time and do not use ur old datas anymore..

Do u have issues with the ph now? If yes pls come down we'll fix it!

Its a Sunday ppl hve their own lives but if u think u need some immediate trouble shooting i can help but the last thing i need is ppl wantin to knock my head like as if it was my fault that ur PH's reacting this way when i already advied u well enough already.. If ur ph needs servicing then send it over we're glad to be of service but again now claim that u don't have time. Then there's nothing we can do rite now but to wait till u choose to come down..

Monday I'll arrange a courier to come pick up the ph from u.. Will that be alright.

The phone still give me problems and headache so far... Don't think that I never complaint to you since then... nothing happen again...

I have been monitored this phone since my last complaint to you but the phone still auto off and on when I view through the photo album folder. The touch screen pad is over sensitive that it always bring me to the wrong direction when I choose to go to the main menu...!!! I am trying to be more patient with my phone but it still remain crazy most of the time... Do you know the reason...???

I have seen the same incident happen to others when they have used this phone as I have observed it several time...

I am rather disappointed whenever I mentioned about the new phone problems to you...

It has been giving me start-up problem when I switch-on the phone in the morning. It can't read memory card data as I need to restart it until the memory card data can be read...

The new phone always change the wallpaper and the theme for me in the morning...

I do not know what can you help me but it seems that this phone has another new issue I have to face it again.

Do you want me to switch-on my new phone 24 hours from now on....? I can't get use to it coz I don't want to answer the phone when I fall asleep...

Hi Priscilla

Ma'am, we've discussed this many times already. The files that you
might have restored back into your new memory card, 1 or some of them
might be corrupted. Hence causing the ph to react this way. We can fix
this by upgrading the ph software and reformating the M2 card for you.
We would even change another M2 card for you if it's necessary but
after this time around just to be safe dont use your old datas back
into your ph. Start putting new datas into the ph, then see the
difference..

The reason for me to request you to let me take a look at your phone is because I want to see how it actually hangs.. For phones to have software related issues such as this are mainly due to existing files in the phone that might be corrupted. We would very much like to solve this problem your having with your phone but we do need to take a look at your ph to see what we can do...

My New Samsung F480 Touch Phone...

In order not to see them or go to Sony Ericsson Service Centre anymore, I have changed to Samsung F480 phone and renew my contract with Starhub Mobile on the 7 May 2009 instead...

I have collected my new phone at CNC Mobile, Whitesands instead... No queue and good customer service...

At least I know that this phone don't have any software related problems so far...

No nonsense of corruption of memory card or anything as I unable to download any photoa, music or video clip as well...

Can't bluetooth from other model or other brands phone as well coz I remember what Sasi has told me before as I memorise it now and forever... Lol...~

He will be much happier as not to see me anymore or even as forever coz they always wanted to fix problems... Just to upgrade software and reformat the phone all the time as I can memorise it very well...~

Maybe all these will be just the excuses for them to handle customers so far as I think... Lol...~

The phone crystal case crack by itself within 2 weeks as I need to let Thai - CNC know about this..!! So I bought another 2 spare crystal case if its crack by itself once again. To-date, its seem nothing happen lo...~
